Power Company Rebates

Currently FPL offers rebates on qualifying air conditioning and heat pump systems installed by an approved contractor.  These rebates vary depending on the size and efficiency of the system.  The paper work is handled by the contractor.  The rebate comes off of the price you pay and the check is sent to the contractor.

Due to the governments increase in minimum efficiency standards, FPL will be revising their rebate schedule effective September 1st 2006.  Many systems that currently qualify for a rebate will be eliminated.  The systems that do still qualify will see a substantial drop in the amount FPL is going to pay.  This is free money from the power company.  Take advantage of it while it's still available.
